Bolinhos de Bacalhau Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 kg. salt cod
2 potatoes
1 tbsp. minced onion
1 garlic clove
2 large eggs
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 cup of bread crumbs
2 cups of oil (for frying)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Steam salt cod for 15 mins. & shred. 2. Boil the potatoes until tender.
3. Mix salt cod, onion, garlic, & egg.
4. Form the batter into 10 balls.
5. Roll them in the bread crumbs.
6. Heat the oil to 350°.
7. Fry the cod balls until golden brown.
8. Drain the cod balls.
9. Serve w/ a lemon slice & a Caipirinha.
